Meet Dr. Iván De León
An ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Iván De León has dedicated more than a decade to eyelid surgery and rejuvenation of the eyes.
He completed four years of ophthalmology specialty training in Israel at Barzilai University Medical Center in Ashkelon (2010–2014), affiliated with Ben-Gurion University.
He subsequently completed a two-year advanced surgical fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery (Eyelids, Lacrimal System & Orbit) in Porto Alegre, Brazil, at Hospital Banco de Olhos and Santa Casa de Misericórdia, as part of the training program of the Brazilian Society of Oculoplastic Surgery (Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica Ocular – SBCPO), from 2015 to 2017.
During this stage, one of his principal mentors was Dr. Ricardo Mörschbacher, a leading figure in Brazilian oculoplastic surgery, university professor, and former president of the SBCPO.
With more than 1,000 aesthetic periocular surgeries performed, his practice is distinguished by surgical precision, natural-looking results, and a highly specialized understanding of the periocular region.
He currently maintains a private practice in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, Mexico, with a particular focus on aesthetic surgery of the eyes.
